Do adolescents take Seasonique or any other pill that you give birth less than 12 periods per year?

I am 17 and I Loestrin but I'm wondering if there are other teenagers were taking birth control that limited the amount of times they had by year. I will, but I do not know if it's quite healthy for me at that age. Oh no it's not that I'm in pain. And is it someone has mood swings on the pill bad they're on?

Hi. I am also 17 and today I went to the doctor's office on switching to a different birth control. I was previously on Ortho Tri Cyclen LO, but I still get headaches from this control births. Then I was put on anti-depressants to prevent my migraines. The thing is, I do not want to keep taking anti-depressants the rest of my life. I am now switching LoSeasonique, well, at least he tries. (A form of low doses of Seasonique normal) I thought the same thing you did, it would be unhealthy to have only 4 periods a year, mostly because of my age. The doctor told me that it quite healthy to have only 4 periods a year on those pills from the lining of the uterus does not accumulate. When a woman is using contraception continuous hormone, the lining of the uterus does not build as it does in preparation for pregnancy need to be paid when this happens not. The lining is thin, and there is little or nothing to pay. Studies have shown menstrual suppression to be sure. Good luck with your birth control. I hope I'll find relief from migraines with LoSeasonique! =]
